Originally designed for server rooms & data centers to detect water under raised floors, the ServersCheck flooding sensor can be used many different applications where water detection is critical from Critical Power Supplies

Water damage is probably the most unknown environmental threat for a computer room. Water in a server room can come from multiple sources:
- defect air conditioning systems
- leakage from pipes running through the computer room
- leakage in rooms next or above the computer room
- leakage from the roof
- traditional flooding

Water is often not visible as most computer rooms are equipped with a raised floor. When early detected, catastrophic damage to the systems and data can be avoided.

ServersCheck offers a low cost sensor for monitoring water leaks, wetness and flooding 24×7. This sensor can detect water or moisture present on floors, carpets and other surfaces.

The sensor when connected to the SensorGateway can generate alerts via email, SMS and SNMP Traps. The video on this page shows a flooding sensor in action. The sensor is deployed to monitor water in a warehouse with alerts sent as SMS.

Provides a WET/DRY indication in Sensorgateway
The sensor probe connects to and is managed through the connected SensorGateway (v5)
Communication protocols to probe through SensorGateway: SNMPv2,v3 and HTTP
Connects via regular straight RJ45 cable to the SensorGateway. Maxmimum distance between probe and SensorGateway is 10m/33ft
